First Cold Weather Run of the Season

It had to be done sometime, right? Believe it or not, I actually PREFER for it to be cold outside when I run. I just get soooo hot otherwise, and that just sucks. Today was a bit on the windy side (22 mph winds made a wind chill of 19), but once I got out there and got going it really wasn't that bad. On the upside, I was able to warm up indoors using our new Wii system. Nothing like a little Wii Tennis to get the juices flowing, right? On the downside, as I was running down Monks Blvd (which has a nice, wide shoulder once the sidewalk runs out), some jerk purposely swerved his car towards me in a deliberate effort to scare the crap out of me, coming within just a few inches of snuffing me out for good. Good news, my friend....Karma is a bitch, and now she knows your name. I hope you get what's coming to you.

I used to ride my bike with a rock in my hand... not a big rock but big enough to break something or scratch the crap out of their car. I used it more than once. And they deserved it. What are they going to do to me? "Gee Police Officer, I was trying to run her down and all of a sudden, she threw a rock at me!"
